Pete Pirate and the Barnacle Bill

We know them all from our childhood, the pirates who set our romantic imagination on fire.  They stood for adventure, discovery, treasure, mermaids and – sometimes – fighting: because that’s what pirates do, isn’t it?  But are they really as romantic as we think?

Climb aboard and discover the Sand Sculpture Festival in Blankenberge, both indoors and outdoors.  Pete Pirate and his motley crew – Chris Crusher, Graham Gruel and Quentin Quiet – are ready to join you in the adventure of a lifetime!

Pete Pirate is the great-grandson of Charles Carolus Pirate.  Grandpa Carolus once found a magnificent treasure.  He buried it in the ground and made a treasure map but he forgot to mark the exact location with an X.  Come aboard the Barnacle Bill and follow the fantastic adventures of Pete and his crew as they go in search of the mysterious lost treasure.  It is the start of a fabulous voyage of discovery, full of strange meetings and surprising happenings!
